Les membres du collectif Noo Lank (Nous disons Non, en wolof) qui lutte contre la hausse du prix de l’électricité au Sénégal, ont annoncé jeudi, une manifestation prévue le 31 janvier, de l’Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar au Poste de Medina, lors d’une conférence de presse.
« Noo Lank appelle les Sénégalais et Sénégalaises à une grande marche le 31 janvier 2020 à Dakar. Cette mobilisation que nous souhaitons historique, sera également et surtout pour la libération du patriote Guy Marius », a dit face à la presse, Ben Taleb Sow, coordinateur.
Il a par ailleurs encouragé les citoyens à se rendre dès demain vendredi au tribunal de Dakar pour se faire délivrer un permis afin d’aller rendre visite à Guy Marius, détenu en prison depuis plus d’un mois pour avoir manifester devant le Palais contre la hausse du prix de l’électricité.
Revenant sur la hausse du prix de l’électricité, M. Sow promet que le combat sera accentué. En plus d’effectuer des visites auprès des chefs religieux, la sensibilisation va se poursuivre dans d’autres quartiers de la capitale. « Ce samedi 25 janvier, nous investirons l’axe marché samedi, rond-point Liberté 6 et marché Grand Yoff ».
