Diourbel vient d’enregistré son premier cas confirmé du Coronavirus, Covid-19. Il s’agit d’un enfant de 3 ans qui a été contaminé par son père. Agent de santé à Touba, ce dernier avait décidé de passer le week-end dernier avec sa petite famille. Une chose qu’il n’allait certainement pas faire s’il savait qu’il a choppé le virus.
Seulement c’est sur le chemin de son domicile qu’il a été informé de la présence du virus dans la structure sanitaire où il travaille. A son retour à Touba, les tests effectués sur lui sont revenus positifs. C’est ainsi qu’en retraçant son parcours que les membres de sa famille ont été placé en isolement. Mais, il avait déjà contaminé son enfant de 3 ans.
Médecin chef de Diourbel, Dr Moussa Ndiaye a informé que le reste de la famille sont des contacts à haut risque et d’autres contacts aussi sont mis en quarantaine dans un hôtel de la place.
