Des sénégalais de tous bords se sont levés avec un seul mot d’ordre : << sunu néew sunu réew >>. On a l’impression que les mesures pour gérer cette crise sanitaire, sont prises à l’improviste, en lieu et place d’une discussion sereine d’avec les principaux acteurs. Avec une vingtaine de cas, on ferme tout, à plus de 1800 cas on rouvre tout. Et nos professionnels de la santé dans tout ça ?
Ainsi la responsabilité individuelle de chaque citoyen sénégalais est plus que jamais engagée. Ne jamais se lasser de respecter les mesures barrières et la conscientisation.
Les sorties hasardeuses et autres décisions discutables semblent être la résultante d’une réflexion étriquée, purement politicienne et sans envergure, ou du haut degré insoupçonné d’un amateurisme achevé. Il est clair qu’une vision politique rigoureuse aurait appelé à plus de bon sens, et surtout à tenir compte de tous les paramètres lorsqu’une décision importante s’impose : la réactivité au plus haut sommet de l’État, le sens du dialogue, la teneur des discours, les agendas politiques, scolaires, sportives, culturelles et cultuelles ; les sensibilités religieuses et intellectuelles, l’humanisme véritable au-delà de l’émotion passagère et du fatalisme ambiant, cette légèreté trop souvent coupable et criminelle.
D’aucuns ont jugé les ramifications de ces errements, scandaleuses à bon escient. Mais avons-nous cherché à situer les responsabilités afin de mieux cerner le noeud du problème ?
Il est normal et tout à fait légitime d’être secoué par cette légèreté étatique. Alors entre en jeu le rôle de ces nombreux conseillers qui pullulent partout, et dont on se demande quel est leur véritable rôle et qu’est-ce qui pourrait donc justifier leurs salaires faramineux, leurs avantages considérables, et même leur promiscuité ?
On y trouve entre autres des journalistes ou plutôt d’anciens journalistes, jadis gesticulateurs autoproclamés voix du peuple, reconvertis en avocats défenseurs de l’indéfendable, porte-drapeaux des vices du peuple et défenseurs des causes perdues quand ils daignent sortir de leur hibernation. Ils sont tous conseillers en communication (et pourtant aucun régime n’a jamais été aussi niais et poussif dans ce domaine), conseillers en Tout et en rien du tout.
Ainsi le Chef de l’État excelle dans les décisions arbitraires et contradictoires, impertinentes et impopulaires. Sans parler de ses lieutenants populistes qui à chaque fois qu’ils l’ouvrent, enfoncent le clou davantage. Certes le populisme est une réalité politique, mais certaines décisions doivent tenir compte des ressentiments qui en découlent.
L’opposition sénégalaise :
Ousmane Sonko avait jeté un pavé dans la mare, en tirant la sonnette d’alarme sur la transparence. Mais n’a pas assumé jusqu’au bout, une position qui lui aurait été grandement favorable.
Complètement absent du débat, il faudra à l’opposition sénégalaise des arguments solides, pour convaincre les populations en quête de réponses à son mutisme. En effet, depuis sa fameuse rencontre avec le président Macky Sall, elle semble sous hypnose. C’est à croire que les légendaires << xarfa xufa >> du palais ont eu l’effet escompté sur l’opposition sénégalaise.
Contribuer au dessein politique national et international, être acteur du destin collectif pour le bien de toute une Nation exige beaucoup de sérieux, de rigueur, de lucidité… L’homme politique se doit d’abord d’être conscient de son engagement : faire et non subir l’histoire. Cela ne sert à rien de s’exprimer avec pompe et affectation, si au fond tout n’est que néant et abîme. L’important n’est pas l’apparence, mais ce qui est en nous, pas le sensible mais l’intelligible. Nous sommes tous sénégalais et j’ose espérer fiers et patriotes.
Nous voulons tous, au-delà de l’indignation collective sur la situation économique et sociale de notre pays, un changement salutaire et de manière inclusif. Alors nous attendons des candidats à la magistrature suprême, un discours au-dessus du baragouin politicien habituel. Un message, fort, clair, net et précis, loin du populisme ambiant… du concret après un diagnostic de plusieurs décennies. Toujours aux flancs du peuple, contre vents et marées.
